POLICIES

By registering for a class, students acknowledge that they agree to the school policies as stated on the AF website.

Payment and refund

Payment for the entire session must be made by credit card (checks may be exceptionally considered) on or before the first day of class. Early registration with payment is recommended, as space is limited.

The student membership fee is non-refundable, even if the student cancels their class after the first week.

No refunds will be issued after the first week of class; however, a credit may be granted. Credits are valid for 12 months, are non-transferable, and must be used within the same category of purchase.

Missed classes do not qualify for a credit. Students are encouraged to contact our administration to explore options for making up any missed course material or assignments.

For private classes and workshops, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Class packages (6-hour, 10-hour) are credit-based and must be used within 12 months. Any unused credits beyond this period will be forfeited.

Missed events do not qualify for a credit as each event has a unique format. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged.

Low Enrollment policy

We reserve the right to cancel a group class due to low enrollment. A minimum of 3 students is needed to open a group class. Private tutoring and co-tutoring options are available for classes of less than 3 students per group.

Fees

$65 fee for all cancellations (unless class is cancelled by AF due to low enrollment).

Disruptive student policy

AF de la Riviera Californienne reserves the right to dismiss any student whose behavior is inappropriate or disruptive to the learning environment and to other students. If AF de la Riviera Californienne receives such a complaint from a teacher and/or fellow students about a student, a meeting will be called with that student to notify him or her of the complaint and to request a change if and when warranted. If after that warning, the student continues to be disruptive, the student will be dismissed, and, when appropriate, AF de la Riviera Californienne will issue a pro-rated refund for any classes not yet taken.
