Every year in March, the whole world celebrates the Francophonie during the "week of the Francophonie". This year, it takes place from March 13 to 21. This year's theme is "the air" and several words have been chosen to explore it: wing, wind, vaporous...

At the Alliance, we decided to focus on the word "buller", which can be translated as “chilling”. “Buller” means being in a bubble, doing nothing, idling... To illustrate this, we will look at a few films that evoke this French carefreeness, such as La Piscine, Purple Noon, or Summer of 85. We will present these films, watch extracts and discuss them. Whether you've seen them or not, join us!
