In 2015, chef Stéphane Tréand relocated his pastry school from San Clemente to Costa Mesa. Located in Soco, the school offers a variety of classes for beginners to culinary professionals. Fullerton College French Film Festival

We have partnered with Fullerton College for their 8th Annual French Film Festival!

Fullerton College’s 8th Annual French Film Festival will take place from March 21st to March 24th 2017.  This year’s festival has films for all tastes and inclinations, including a German spotlight film. Individual general admission tickets are $6.50 and can be purchased beginning January 30th through Fullerton College’s box office. Tickets for children ages 2 to 12 are $4.50. All movies begin at 7:30pm at the Campus Theater.

Newport Beach Film Festival

The Newport Beach Film Festival offers our members a discount and an amount of reserved admission tickets for the French Spotlight.

The Newport Beach Film Festival seeks to bring to Orange County the best of classic and contemporary filmmaking from around the world. Committed to enlightening the public with a first-class international film program as well as providing a forum for cultural understanding and enriching educational opportunities, the Festival focuses on showcasing a diverse collection of both studio and independent films.

The next edition of the NBFF will take place between April 20th and April 27th 2017.

Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA)

 

The Alliance Française of Orange County is partnering with LILA (Lycée International de Los Angeles) to offer “Mommy et moi” classes.

The class is taught by an Alliance teacher for children ages 15 to 30 months. The sessions take place at the Orange County campus at 1838 N. Shaffer Street, Orange, CA 92865. More information here.

Located in Newport Beach, Moulin opened its bistro doors in September 2014 with the mission of making guests feel as if they have been transported to Paris with an emphasis of authenticity from the food and drink to the decor and ambiance, with as few cultural adjustements as possible. In fact, only two accomadations were made to fit the American lifestyle: serving coffee to go and offering phone-in orders for pick up.
